Installing pythonwhois

To install pythonwhois, you need to have
pip
installed. It's available on most distributions in a package named
python-pip
.
The pythonwhois package includes the
pwhois
tool.
Installing it from scratch

pip install pythonwhois
Updating from a previous version
Make sure to read the
upgrade notes
before updating to a new major pythonwhois version!
