While LCSC is a huge source of datasheets, their manufacturer naming is a little weird. It's a combination of common names and formal company names, often abbreviated, including alternate names, and so on.
The scraper can apply a mapping to normalize these names, but help is needed in actually creating that mapping. To help out, please pick some company names from the list - any amount is fine! - find out what their "common name" is (eg. "Realtek Semicon" is known as just "Realtek"), and submit it as a comment to this issue. Make sure to use a code block!
A good way of finding out the common name of a manufacturer, is to go to their website's about page, and see how they refer to themselves in the text other than by their full name. But other sources are also fine, so long as the resulting name is reasonably short and consistently formatted.
Your submission should be in the following format:
"Original Company Name": "Common Name / Alt Name"
"Other Original Corp": "Another Common Name"
Note: If a company is known under multiple common names, and both are frequently used, separate them with a slash and whitespace like shown above. Omit uncommon names. And please make sure that the capitalization of the common name is correct!
Ideally, leave a comment which to which first letter you are currently working on, to avoid duplicate work!
Thanks for your help!
